Lately, my mind keeps drifting to mutual respect and the lessons learned from my Mother Margie. I learned Mutual Respect has the power to transform any situation or relationship. We are taught the basic social guidelines of respect as children. Respect is the foundation of a civilized well functioning society. You have to give respect to receive respect. Mutual Respect teaches us to see similarities and respects differences. My Mother’s golden rule was. “If you do not have something nice to say about another person. Say nothing at all.” Mutual Respect opens up communication, builds bridges, establishes trust, defuses conflicts, resolves differences and always produces successful outcomes. It is just that simple. Thanks Mom. I am so proud to be Margie’s Daughter. margiesdaughter.com
