Lately, my mind keeps drifting to mutual respect and the lessons learned from my Mother Margie. I was taught that mutual respect has the power to transform any situation or relationship. I learned you have to give respect to receive respect. Hergolden rule was. “If you do not have something nice to say about another person. Say nothing at all.” Mutual respect taught me to see similarities and respects differences. I learned the practice of Mutual Respect builds bridges, establishes trust, defuses conflicts, resolve differences and produces successful outcomes. Now that’s power. It is just that simple.
