The following simple exercise activates the diaphragm. It can be done sitting up or lying down. Select the position that is the most comfortable for you. Once comfortable close your eyes. Notice your breath moving in out through the nose. Strengthen the connection. Place a finger under your nose. Feel your breath flowing in and out. Once that connection is made.
