Regulate Stress & Anxiety….

There is a primal connection between our emotions and breath. Diaphragmatic breathing triggers our parasympathetic nervous system. The branch of the nervous system that regulates stress and anxiety. The following simple exercise activates the diaphragm. It can be done sitting up or lying down. Select the position that is the most comfortable for you. Once comfortable close your eyes. Notice your breath moving in out through the nose. Strengthen the connection. Place a finger under your nose. Feel your breath flowing in and out. Once that connection is made. Rest a hand on your belly. Continue to breath in and out. When you experience belly movement. You are breathing diagrammatically. Take Control.
